Lillard’s 60 Not Enough For Portland Against Celtics

Damian Lillard went off last night scoring 60 points on 19 of 33 shooting from the field.  Lillard went on to hit 7 of his 16 three point attempts and added 4 rebounds and 5 assists to an impressive offensive night.

Lillard only had 2 teammates in double digit scoring with him including Anfernee Simmons (15) and Hassan Whiteside (10).

This was a fairly close game with 9 lead changes and Brooklyn never led by more than 10 points,  but the Nets were able to come out on top 119-115.

The Brooklyn Nets were led in scoring by Spencer Dinwiddie who had 34 points on 11/18 shooting from the field.  Dinwiddie added 5 rebounds,  4 assists,  and a steal.

Kyrie Irving had 33 points for the Nets as well shooting 12/27 from the field and adding 3 rebounds,  6 assists,  a steal,  and a block.

The Nets controlled the lead about 85 percent of the entire game and managed to hold on to win by 4.

The Brooklyn Nets advance to 4-4 on the season while Portland falls to 3-6.
