LeBron Becomes 4th Player to Reach 33,000 Points Against Pelicans

Grizzlies vs Lakers November 27 2019

Whether or not you think LeBron James is the G.O.A.T.,  the 2nd best player of all time,  somewhere on your Mount Rushmore, or a top 10 all time player,  there is no denying his greatness.  Even the most staunch “LeBron haters” have him somewhere in their all-time top 5 players list.

LeBron has accomplished feat after feat over his 17 seasons in the NBA and last night he crossed another huge milestone.  LeBron James became the 4th player in NBA history to cross over 33,000+ points scored for their entire career.

This is a crazy accomplishment considering the fact that LeBron isn’t even considered a great all-time scorer by most analyst’s standards even though LeBron shot a higher field goal percentage for his career than Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

Lebron and the Lakers were able to win their 9th straight game against the Pelicans with Lebron putting up 29 points on 10 of 18 shooting from the field.  He added 5 boards,  11 assists,  2 steals,  and a block.

Anthony Davis was booed by his former hometown fans when he was introduced in his first game back in New Orleans as a Los Angeles Laker,  but he didn’t let the negativity get to his head.  Davis went off for 41 points on 15 of 30 shooting from the field and and he added 9 rebounds,  1 assist,  3 steals,  and a block.

The Pelicans were led in scoring by Jrue Holiday who had 29 points on 12 of 23 shooting from the field.  Holliday added 6 rebounds,  12 assists,  and 3 steals.

Brandon Ingram was 2nd in line for the Pelicans with 23-10-1 and a block.

The Lakers advance to 14-2 on the season while the Grizzlies fall to 5-10.
