Kemba Walker and Jason Tatum Lift the Celtics over Giannis and The Bucks

Celtics win against the Bucks

The East only has a handful of teams in the conversation to win the conference,  and the Bucks and Celtics are both on that list.

This game had a playoff atmosphere from the start and Kemba Walker,  Jason Tatum,  and Gordon Hayward put on a show scoring 78 points of the 116 for Boston.  Kemba led the charge with 32 points shooting 7 of 19 from the field and 4 of 11 from 3.  15 of his 32 came from the free throw line and he shot 15 of 16 from the strike. He also chipped in 6 boards and 6 assists.

Jason Tatum put up 25 points and shot 4 of 7 from three point land.  He is starting to look more and more promising,  and more like the rookie phenom that had the entire NBA world buzzing.

Gordon Hayward led the way in terms of facilitation with 7 assists to go along with his 19 points and 7 rebounds.  I hope that Hayward can keep up this level of play and earn the big contract he was given.

With Gordon Hayward playing well I believe that Boston can be a real force and potential threat to Philadelphia,  especially if Tatum and Walker continue to shine.  This is a true big 3 with big potential,  but we will have to see how the season pans out.

Giannis and the Bucks fall to 2-2.  Giannis didn’t seem to have any trouble scoring the ball tonight ending up with 22 points off 8 for 13 shooting.  He also had 14 boards,  5 assists,  2 blocks,  and a steal.
