Giannis Has a Monster Night to Lift Bucks Over Clippers

Bucks Vs Clippers November 6 2019

We all know that Giannis Antetokounmpo is a special talent and he enforced that by winning the regular season MVP last year.

So far this year,  he has picked up right where he left off,  and last night was no different against The Clippers.

Giannis had a monstrous night scoring 38 points shooting 10/21 from the field.  He was 1 assist shy of a triple double snagging 16 rebounds and logging 9 assists.  On top of his huge offensive night he also grabbed 2 steals and blocked 2 shots on the defensive side of things as well.  He hit 4/7 from three and if he can keep developing his jump shot and 3 point stroke,  he will easily be the best player in the entire league.

George Hill also had a monster night,  especially by his standards,  scoring 24 points off 9/14 shooting.  He hit 6 of his 7 three point attempts and added 3 boards and a steal.

Eric Bledsoe went off for 20-6-2,  1 steal,  and 1 block.

Kyle Korver was also hot from three point land hitting 4/7 of his threes and scoring 14 points in only 15 minutes.

The Clippers played exceptionally well,  especially for not having Kawhi or PG on the floor but it wasn’t quite enough to get them the win.

Montrezl Harrell had 34 points shooting 13/25 from the field and adding 13 rebounds,  5 assists,  1 steal,  and 1 block.

Lou Williams also had 34 points although it wasn’t as efficient as Harrell’s.  Williams shot 9/27 from the field,  4/9 from three,  and added 6 rebounds and 11 assists.

The Clippers would have probably won this game had Kawhi not been out for “load management”,  or if even PG was back.  Being able to stay in this game with your best 2 players missing shows how deep the Clippers really are.

The Bucks move to 6-2 on the season and the Clippers fall to 5-3.
