Collective Pacers Effort Upends Pistons

The Pacers and Pistons both entered this game with 4 wins on the season and a similar storyline.

Both teams are suffering greatly from injuries and awaiting their star’s return.  The Pacers are missing Oladipo while the Pistons have been missing Reggie Jackson and Blake Griffin.

The Pacers won this game by pure team effort with 7 players scoring 10 or more points.

T.J. Warren,  Domantas Sabonis,  and T.J. McConnell all tied in leading the Pacers in scoring with 17 points each.

Justin Holiday (16),  Doug McDermott (15),  Malcom Brogdon (11),  and JaKarr Sampson (10) were the other Pacers in double digit scoring.

The Pistons were led in scoring by Luke Kennard who had 29 points,  6 rebounds,  and 5 assists.

There was only 1 lead change in this entire game.  The Pistons took control from tip-off and held the lead all the way up until the end of the 2nd quarter.  Once the Pacers took the lead they went up by as many as 17 points and never let the lead dip below 6 points to complete the game.

The Pacers move to 5-4 on the season while the Pistons drop to 4-6.
